Wet a rag with hot water for that bumper scuff, saved me 20 minutes on a Corolla last Tuesday
Had a white 2019 Corolla in bay 3 with a parking lot scuff on the rear bumper cover, the kind that looks like it needs a full respray but is really 90 percent transfer. I tried a hot wet rag and some compound by hand instead of dragging out the DA, and about 20 minutes later the customer could not find the spot. Does anyone else keep a kettle in the shop for stuff like this, or am I the only one who looks crazy doing it?

Hot water works even better if you add a little soap to break the surface tension first.
