The time a customer brought in a 'minor scratch' that turned into a full quarter panel

Last month in Akron, they said it was just a parking lot tap, but the inner structure was bent. Anyone else get those 'just a little dent' jobs that blow up?

Are we sure the beam was actually folded, or just looked bent from a weird angle? Sometimes the inner structure can look worse than it is once you get in there. I'd want to see pictures before calling for a full shell.

My buddy had a client who said a shopping cart hit their door. Just a tiny ding, right? They pulled the interior panel and found the side impact beam was folded like a taco. The whole repair plan went out the window. It went from a quick paintless dent fix to a full door shell replacement.

Wow, that's wild. I mean @ivanhart, that's not just a ding then, that's a full-on hit. The beam doesn't fold from a cart rolling into it, something way heavier had to be involved.
