Shop across town started using a paint scanner last year and my comeback rate is up 8 percent
My booth guy swears his eye is better than the $6,000 scanner at the shop on 5th, but I did a side by side on a pearl white Camry and his match was two shades off. Anybody else seeing scanners beat hand mixing on tri coats, or is it just how my guy reads color?

Yeah tri coats the scanner wins every time, no contest.
