First 20-year-old frame I straightened without a diagram, feeling good about this one
Usually I'd second guess the crush measurements on anything pre-2000, but this little Toyota pickup came in Tuesday and I just followed the damage lines in order. The gap on the driver door came out dead even first pass, which never happens for me. Anyone else find that older frames talk to you more than the new stuff?
Old steel just makes more sense than this new stuff. Everything on those older trucks bends in a way your hands can follow, so the frame kind of shows you where it wants to go. Newer frames fight you the whole way and still come out off.
