That time I froze during a work presentation and just owned it in front of 30 people

Last month I had to give a safety briefing to the whole warehouse crew, and my mind went totally blank halfway through. I was standing there with a clipboard, everyone staring, and I just said 'okay, I lost my train of thought, give me a second.' I took a sip of coffee, looked at my notes, and started again from the middle of the point. Turns out two guys came up after and said they respected that I didn't fake it or panic. Has anyone else had a public screw-up that actually made people trust you more?

Ngl that coffee sip move was lowkey power move, once I dropped my notecards and just read the wall poster instead.
