Pro tip: don't waste $40 on a fancy vegetable spiralizer like I did

I saw all those videos of zucchini noodles and thought I needed a $40 spiralizer from the kitchen store. Used it exactly twice before it broke in the dishwasher. Now I just use my regular peeler to make thin strips and it works fine. Has anyone else fallen for kitchen gadgets that seemed like a good idea at the time?

I mean, I feel this so hard. I bought one of those handheld spiralizers that looked so cute in the Instagram ad, used it once to make zucchini noodles, and then spent like twenty minutes trying to get the little blades clean without cutting my fingers off. It's just sitting in my drawer now next to the fancy garlic press I bought that doesn't actually crush garlic any better than a knife. Maybe it's just me but I feel like kitchen gadgets are designed to look good in a drawer, not to actually work more than two times.

Mine's sitting in the back of a cabinet collecting dust next to my air fryer that I also barely use lol.
