I finally picked the bus over my car for commuting in Seattle

After 3 months of sitting in I-5 traffic every morning, I decided to try the number 41 bus route instead of driving my sedan downtown. The bus was slower by 15 minutes but I saved $180 in parking fees that first month alone. Has anyone else made a switch like this and stuck with it, or did you go back to your car?

But did you have to factor in the extra time for the bus being late or skipping stops when it's full? I tried the 41 a few times and realized the schedule was more of a suggestion than a promise in Seattle. That twenty minute cushion I built in started to feel like wasted time after a while.

Switched to taking the 41 twenty minutes earlier @park.robin and never looked back.
