Hit 500 square feet of perfect floor today and it felt huge

I've been doing flooring on my own for about 2 years now. Today I finished 500 square feet of luxury vinyl plank in a living room and dining area with zero gaps or lippage. That might not sound like much to some people, but for me it's a big deal because my first few solo jobs had so many do-overs I nearly gave up. I used the same leveling compound and underlayment I've always used, but this time my prep work was way better. Spent an extra hour checking for dips and filling them before I even started laying the planks. The homeowner said it looked like one solid piece of wood, which felt pretty good. Has anyone else hit a number that surprised them in their own work?

That reminds me of the time I helped my buddy pour a concrete pad for his shed... we spent like three hours just grading the dirt underneath and getting it perfectly level. He kept saying "good enough" but I made him wait while I checked it with a four foot level from every angle. The concrete came out so smooth you could have eaten off it. He still brings it up every time someone mentions a home project and I think that's kind of funny.

Sounds like he owes you a beer or two for that one.
