Found out the average person spends 92 hours a year looking for lost items and I got that number from a productivity blog I normally ignore.

That statistic hit me because I realized I waste about 30 minutes every week hunting for my keys or wallet, so has anyone else tried that whole "designated drop zone" thing and actually stuck with it?

Ha, my "drop zone" is just the floor where my keys land when I walk in. Works great until I kick them under the couch.

Sorry @hayden466 but I'd rather those minutes be spent searching than admitting a bowl runs my life now.

Does a bowl on the entry table count? That thing saves me ten minutes a day for real.
