That $400 SEO course from a guy in Ohio taught me nothing

Paid for a whole course back in 2021. Thought I'd learn real secrets. Guy just read Google's own help pages out loud. I could've just watched free YouTube videos for the same info. Anyone else get burned by a hyped up online course?

Bought a "masterclass" from some marketing guru in 2020. Dude spent half the time talking about his Lamborghini and how much money he made. The actual content was just basic blogging tips I already knew. Felt like I paid for a motivational seminar instead of real skills.

Did you check if the guy actually had a track record of results for anyone besides himself? I always wonder if these "gurus" can name even one client they made money for. Their whole pitch seems to be "look at my stuff, you could have it too" but zero receipts on whether their methods work for regular people. Like show me a single testimonial from someone who wasn't already successful before they took the course.
