I think caulking tubs with a wet finger is overrated
Everyone always says use a wet finger to smooth caulk, but after 22 years painting bathrooms in Denver, I found a cheap silicone tool from Home Depot for $4 gives way cleaner lines with zero mess. Am I the only one who thinks the finger trick leaves a thin, uneven bead that fails faster?

Real issue is moisture hiding under the skin, finger pushes it deeper.
