A guy at my first Phoenix mixer said skip the elevator pitch, just ask what they're stuck on
I thought that was garbage advice at the time, but after 6 months of chambers events in Tempe the people who actually call me back are the ones I helped with one small problem first. Curious if anyone else here has tried leading with a favor instead of a pitch.

Leading with a favor feels fake to me, people smell the angle from a mile away.
