Had a field supervisor tell me my trowel marks were too deep on a dig site
She said I was scraping away micro-stratigraphy that could hold pollen samples. Has anyone else had to adjust their technique after getting critiqued on something that seemed minor?

But here's the thing, it's not just about this one post. I notice people nitpicking everything these days. Like at work, someone will get a whole project right but they'll focus on the one tiny mistake. Or on social media, people will rip apart a good point because of a typo. It's like we forgot how to look at the big picture. This little stuff just drowns out the actual message.
