Tried a Silky saw vs a cheap hardware store saw on a big oak limb last week

I had to take down a 12 inch limb hanging over my truck in Portland. Used my old $25 saw from Home Depot first and it took forever, binding up every cut. Switched to a Silky Zubat 330mm and it cut through like butter in half the time. Anyone else notice a HUGE difference between budget saws and the expensive Japanese ones?

You ever had a buddy swear something works and then you see it happen? My friend Dave borrowed my cheap saw once and complained for a week. Next time I saw him he pulled out a Silky he bought on a whim. He was cutting up a fallen maple branch in his yard, maybe 8 inches thick. The thing just zipped through it like it was nothing. He called me the next day to say it changed his whole weekend.

Totally feel you on that. @drew690 I saw his post about Dave and yeah, it's wild how one good tool can just change your whole mood about a job. It's like once you feel that difference, you can't go back.
