My crew handles storm calls despite the risks

Most arborists avoid storm work due to safety concerns, but I think we should help when trees cause damage. Last fall, a big pine fell on a neighbor's fence, and we cleared it fast before more rain came. We check for power lines and wear extra gear to reduce danger. Homeowners really appreciate the quick response, and it strengthens our local ties.

Well, it's not quite as crazy as it sounds (you know, like bomb disposal). We have strict checks for power lines and use extra gear, which cuts the risk a lot. Clearing that pine last fall before more rain came saved the neighbor's yard from worse damage. It's more about controlled work than just rushing in.

So your life insurance policy must be about a mile long, right? I've seen what wind can do to trees and the idea of being under one while it's still cracking sounds wild. You guys are basically the tree world's version of bomb disposal. Mad respect for doing it, but I'm happy just looking at the results from my side of the wrecked fence.

Heard about my friend's close call (with a cracking tree)?
