Chat with a landlord in Bakersfield changed how I bill for dryer vent work

Last Tuesday I was swapping a thermal fuse in a rental unit and the owner hung around to watch. He said he'd been paying $85 for a vent cleaning every year and never bothered to check if the dryer was actually fixed after. Told me he'd rather have one honest tech who sends a photo of the lint trap before and after than a cheaper guy who just runs a brush through. Since then I've been adding a quick before/after pic to every repair invoice, and two other landlords asked for the same when I mentioned it. Anyone else find that showing your work cuts down on callbacks or pushback on price?

Makes sense, showing proof just kills the argument before it starts.

Three years of arguing with customers taught me one thing, @parker_park8, so I always screenshot everything before I say a word.
