I had to pick between subbing or dubbing for my first watch of Attack on Titan and went with dub after 3 episodes of reading subtitles

The sub felt more authentic but I kept missing visual details during action scenes, so I stuck with the dub and honestly the voice acting is solid, anyone else flip flop between them based on the show?

Nah man, I gotta disagree hard on this one. In my experience, missing a few visuals is way better than losing all the emotional weight the original voice actors carry in the performance.

Hold on, you stopped after just three episodes of subs... that's not nearly enough time to get used to them.
