Just read that air fryers use way less oil than I thought
I was looking at the manual for my new Cosori air fryer last night. It said you only need about a tablespoon of oil for a whole batch of fries. I used to deep fry them in a big pot of oil. That's a huge difference. I made some chicken wings with just a spray of oil and they were still crispy. Has anyone else cut their oil use way down? What's your go-to low oil recipe?

That's the best part, you barely need any oil for things to get crispy. My favorite trick is tossing veggies in a tiny bit of oil and seasoning before air frying. It makes roasted broccoli taste way better than steaming it.

Totally get what @aliceshah means about the veggies. My roommate tried that with Brussels sprouts last week, just a tiny bit of olive oil and some garlic powder. They came out so good, almost like they were fried. Kinda makes you realize how much oil we were using before without even thinking about it.
