I finally think AI art tools have a place after hating them for two years

Was convinced they were just stealing from real artists until my buddy used Midjourney to mock up 50 logo concepts for a client in 4 hours, and the client loved one enough to pay a human $500 to finish it proper, so has anyone else had a moment where a tool you hated actually made a workflow better?

Yo has anyone else noticed how this whole AI thing is kinda like when GPS first came out? Everyone swore theyd never use it cause paper maps were better and now nobody even owns a road atlas. New tools always feel like theyre replacing something but most of the time they just make the boring parts faster so humans can focus on the stuff that actually matters.

Wait, people actually swore off GPS when it first dropped? I remember folks fighting over paper maps on road trips like it was a badge of honor or something. Now my glovebox is just empty wrappers and an aux cord.
