Signed a referral deal with another agency 6 weeks ago and now I am not sure who owns the client
Back in March I teamed up with a small web design shop here in Boise to swap leads, and it worked great until one of their clients asked me to also handle their email setup. My contract with them says leads are shared but says nothing about who keeps the client if the work grows past the first project. Has anyone here run into this and did you write up a second agreement or just split the revenue? I want to keep the partnership but I also do not want to hand over a client I spent 3 months building trust with.
