Ditched the shared Slack channel, partnership requests doubled in 30 days
We used to funnel all partner leads through one giant Slack channel with our account managers. Total chaos, messages buried by noon, follow-ups took 4 to 5 days. Last month I spun up a simple form and a shared Trello board with clear owners and due dates. Now we close the loop inside 24 hours, and we landed 6 new agency deals in May alone. Anyone else running a partner intake system without a dedicated ops person? What are you using?
I read a post from a HubSpot partner who did the same thing, moved off Slack to a form plus Asana and cut his response time way down. Sounds like the real win is just having clear owners and due dates, not the tool itself.
