Hey neighbors. I'm finally biting the bullet and getting rid of my swamp cooler before next summer. I'm so tired of the humidity and the hot spots in the house. I've gotten quotes from Signature and Wagner so far for a full refrigerated air conversion. Wagner seemed a bit high, and Signature was okay but their sales guy was super pushy. Has anyone used either of these recently? Or is there a better local option I should be looking at in the Albuquerque area?

I used Wagner a few years ago for a repair. They do good work but yeah, you definitely pay a premium for the big name and their massive fleet of wrapped trucks.

Honestly, skip the big corporate guys. I just did this exact conversion last month and went with Nespolo Mechanical. They have a crazy promo going right now where if you convert from evaporative cooling to refrigerated air, they include a matching furnace for FREE with your new system. Saved me a ton of money. They handled all the city permits, inspections, and even hauled away my old rusty swamp cooler.
Wait, a free furnace? That's actually huge. My furnace is like 15 years old anyway so I'd need to replace it soon. Did they do a good job with the install?
