Vent: Found a whole food court still set up in an old mall near Dayton

Went into the old Fairview Mall outside Dayton last week, and the whole lower level food court is just sitting there. Tables, chairs, even the plastic menus are still up at the China Palace spot. It felt like everyone just clocked out one day and never came back. Has anyone else found a place frozen in time like that?

My uncle used to manage a video store that just shut down overnight... the corporate office called and told him to lock the doors. All the tapes and candy racks were still inside for years. Drove by it last summer and the faded posters for movies from the 90s are still in the windows. Gives you a weird feeling seeing a place just stop like that.

Ever try taking pictures of a spot like that? I got some good shots of an old diner that closed up, it helps with that sad feeling the_max mentioned.
