PSA: Getting past the collapsed ceiling in the old Northgate Mall food court took us 4 hours, not 30 minutes.
We had to clear a path through wet drywall and metal studs by hand because our crowbar was useless in the tight space. Has anyone else had a simple barrier turn into a major project?

Remember that drywall gets really heavy when it's soaked. A crowbar works on brittle material, but wet stuff just bends and binds. What did you end up using to cut the studs?

Ended up using a sawzall, but it felt like cutting through wet concrete. The whole thing was such a mess, I probably lost five pounds just in sweat. My back still hurts just thinking about it. Next time there's a leak, I'm just selling the house.
