Flashlight debate: headlamp versus handheld for mall crawls in the dark
I hit the old Willowbrook Mall in Jersey with a handheld Maglite last Saturday and spent half the trip juggling it while climbing over collapsed escalator parts. Swapped to a cheap headlamp on the next level and it freed my hands but the beam made every shadow look like a person, totally spooked me twice. Which do you guys run when you're two floors underground and the power's out for good?
