inHot take: Boiler repairs used to be a crew thing, now it's just me and a manual.
Tbh you see this everywhere now. Same thing happened with car repairs, where you used to take it to a guy who knew everything. Now you just watch a YouTube video and hope you don't make it worse. Feels like every company decided it was cheaper to give us a manual than to pay a person to help. Even basic tech stuff is like that, where you're just expected to figure it out alone when it breaks.
