Yesterday, I snapped a photo of a couple arguing, and now I'm questioning if I crossed a line.

I mean, on one hand, it was a raw, human moment that defines street photography. But idk, maybe it's just me, but capturing private distress feels exploitative. Curious to hear where others draw the line.

Ugh, that's sketchy. Street photography shouldn't mean violating people's privacy during vulnerable moments. You probably knew it was wrong when you took it.

Have you ever stopped to think about when a street photo becomes too personal? I used to be all about capturing 'real life' without asking (it felt like honest art, you know?), but @lisag60's comment about vulnerable moments made me rethink that. It's like, if you know it's wrong when you're taking it, why do it? Now I see that respecting privacy should come before getting a cool shot. That shift in view has honestly made me more careful about what I point my camera at.

Your hesitation means you're a decent person.
