I signed up for a ghost pepper wing contest at a local spot recently. In my view, these dares felt more laid-back years ago, but now they're full of cameras and pressure. Your mileage may vary, but do you feel the spirit of these challenges has shifted?

Tried a habanero salsa challenge at a fair last year. It was just me and some friends goofing around, no big deal. Now I see videos of the same booth with people filming for likes. Kinda takes the fun out of it when everyone's watching, you know? Makes me miss the old days where you could just suffer in peace lol.
