Alert: My home-cooked lunch habit is stealing precious work minutes

Working from home has me constantly choosing between cooking and keeping up with my job. On one side, preparing meals feels healthy and lets me avoid costly takeout. For instance, whipping up a stir-fry gives me a nice break and good fuel. BUT, the time spent chopping and cleaning can REALLY interrupt my focus. I once lost track during a simmer and was late to a team call. So, is it smarter to batch cook on weekends or just grab quick bites daily? I NEED opinions on how you balance this!

My roommate swears by Sunday meal prep, but it never works for me. I always end up ordering delivery by Wednesday because I get sick of the same food. Plus, the cleanup from prepping just adds to my Monday stress.

Know exactly what you mean, Sunday prep is a trap for me too. I made a big batch of chili last week and was so sick of it by Tuesday that I ordered pizza. The extra dishes and planning just make the whole thing not worth the effort.

Yeah I read this tip about using frozen chopped veggies, it's been a total game changer for cutting down prep time during the week.
