The 3 PM printer jam that exposed our office's secret rule
Last Tuesday I watched our office manager spend 20 minutes unsticking a copier while everyone pretended not to notice. Turns out there's an unspoken policy that no one can leave the floor until the machine is running again, even if we're just waiting on nothing. Has anyone else worked somewhere with a weird unwritten rule like that?
