My $300 bread proofing box is now a cat bed in Wichita

I dropped a ton of cash on that proofing box back in 2021 thinking I'd become a sourdough wizard. Then one Sunday I left the dough in for an extra hour and it overflowed like a volcano all over my counter, took me 45 minutes to scrape off. I shoved the box in the closet, and now my tabby sleeps in it every night, which honestly is more use than I ever got. Has anyone else repurposed a dead hobby gadget into something totally random?
