Your point on personal curation beating automated feeds is so true. My old bookmarks have finds no algorithm would ever dig up.

I ALWAYS thought algorithms were smart, but you're RIGHT, they just push popular trends. My old bookmark folder actually had unique finds that algorithms never show. Now I see why personal curation BEATS automated feeds.

My bookmark folder hit 872 links last month. I force myself to go through it every year and it's like rediscovering my own brain. That manual review always surfaces gems the algorithm buried years ago.
