Can we talk about how I used to design everything with a mouse until I tried a $40 vintage drafting table?
I found a 1970s drafting table at a garage sale last month, and using the parallel arm and a real pencil for initial sketches has completely changed my workflow, making my digital designs feel more intentional, so has anyone else brought an old physical tool back into their modern creative process?

My uncle still uses a slide rule for quick math. There's something about a physical tool that makes you slow down and get it right.

Wait your uncle actually knows how to use a slide rule? That's wild. I've only seen those in old movies. Does he carry it around or is it just a desk thing?
