Appreciation post: My weekend spent learning to bind books by hand
I found an old guide online and spent Saturday making my own journal. It's way more satisfying than buying one, and I'm hooked on keeping this craft alive.

Honestly that bit about "keeping this craft alive" is what hits different. It's like when @bensingh used scrap paper, the book stops being just a thing and becomes a little piece of your own history. Ngl that's way cooler than anything you could ever buy.
