TIL that I'm the only one who misses when orange juice had pulp in it

When I was a kid, every carton had bits of fruit that made it taste fresh. Now most brands filter it all out for a smooth texture. I know a lot of people hate pulp, but that little bit of texture made it feel real. It's just not the same without it.

You've got it backwards. Most brands still sell pulp versions, they just put them in different cartons. Look for "some pulp" or "lots of pulp" on the label right next to the no-pulp kind. They didn't get rid of it, they just split the product line because so many people complained. Your grocery store might not stock it, but it's definitely still made.

Hold on, if most brands still sell pulp versions, why is it so hard to find them? I've checked multiple stores and often only see no-pulp options on the shelf. Isn't there enough demand to justify giving them space? It feels like stores are pushing the smoother juice because it might sell faster or easier. What do you think drives that choice, is it about cost or what customers actually ask for? I wonder if the pulp kind costs more to make or if it's just a matter of limited fridge space in stores.

Actually saying "most brands still sell pulp versions" feels off when half the stores near me don't carry them on the shelf. The label might exist but if it's never in stock, it's basically gone for regular shoppers. Shelf space decides what's real, not what the company makes.
