Cold fish sticks won over my friends at a picnic

I've always liked fish sticks better cold from the fridge. At a picnic yesterday, I decided to serve them that way. A few people were unsure at first, but they ended up enjoying the crisp texture. It's a small win for my unpopular food taste.

Honestly calling it a 'small win' for your taste seems like a lot. Tbh cold fried food is pretty normal, leftover chicken fingers are basically the same thing. It's not that deep if your friends liked a fridge snack.

Cold pizza for breakfast at a campsite last year was a similar hit. My friends all thought it was odd until they tried it and kept asking for more. Group eats are just better when nobody stresses over what's normal, lol.
