My dried flower shelf collapse turned my kitchen into a confetti zone

I wanted to organize my leftover blooms by hanging them on a wall shelf I put up myself. Halfway through, the brackets gave out and sent a rainbow of petals flying everywhere. My dog thought it was a party and started rolling in the pile, tracking glittery bits all over the house. Took me two hours to clean up, and I still spot tiny rose pieces in odd corners.

Did you have petals stuck in the carpet too? My dog got into some daisies once... I sprinkled baking soda on the spots to soak up the moisture. After it sat for a bit, I vacuumed it all up and the stain came out with it.

My dog totally shredded some tulips yesterday. I blotted the wet spots with a towel first, then dabbed on some watered-down dish soap. It lifted the stain right out without any fancy products.
