Went to a closing in Phoenix that wrapped up in under 30 minutes
Everyone says a fast closing is a good closing. I was at a title office near Camelback Road last Tuesday. The whole thing was done in 28 minutes flat. They rushed through every single paper. I felt like I was just signing my name without really knowing what for. Has anyone else felt pushed through a closing that was too quick?

Ever feel like a signing robot?

Yeah the "signing robot" thing is so real. It's like they slide a page over, point at the line, you scribble, and bam next page. I remember one where they just said "initial here, sign here" over and over for like ten pages straight. Felt like I was on an assembly line, not buying a house.

Totally get that rushed feeling, but a fast closing is actually a good sign. It means all the work was done right beforehand. The signing part is just the last step. They should still let you read each page, but if your agent and lender did their jobs, the papers should match what you already agreed to.
