I finally saw what a difference a proper trim makes on a foundered pony over six months.

Went from a hoof that looked like a ski tip to a normal shape after consistent work every five weeks. Anyone else had a case that turned around that much with just regular trimming?

Oh totally, I had a similar case with a rescue mare. We stuck to a strict five week schedule, focusing on getting the breakover back under her, and the change was wild. It's exactly what @west.anna said, those small, regular fixes are everything. Seeing that hoof finally land flat after months was the best feeling.

Yeah, my buddy's gelding was the same, just like @west.anna said. Took a solid six months of those small trims to really see it land right.

Consistent small fixes really do add up over time.
