Tried the toothpaste trick to buff out phone scratches, now it's all smeared up but my buddies won't stop joking about it.

I mean how bad can it really be? It's just toothpaste, it'll wipe off. Idk maybe it's just me but a few smears feel like such a small thing to get worked up over. Phones get scratched up anyway, it's not like you broke the screen. Your buddies will find something new to joke about by next week.

Toothpaste doesn't just wipe off. It has gritty stuff that scratches screens for good. Those marks ruin the smooth feel and look bad. Phones are pricey, so why make them worse? Your friends joke because it shows you don't care. Taking care of your things matters, even small stuff.
