My water fast turned into a snack attack thanks to a faulty alarm

Decided to try a 24-hour water fast for health. Set an alarm to remind me when to break it. The alarm never went off because my phone died. I got so hungry I ate a whole bag of chips by mistake. Thought it had been 24 hours, but it was only 12. So much for cleansing. Now I just eat regular meals and charge my phone.

Your phone basically staged a hunger-based mutiny (a real betrayal of trust, if you ask me). The real cleanse was apparently purging your willpower along with your battery life. Nothing like a dead gadget to turn noble health goals into a crinkly bag of regret. You went from spiritual detox to salt-and-vinegar surrender in one silent alarm cycle. Maybe the lesson is that our phones know we're not built for that sort of thing. The universe clearly decided your body needed electrolytes more than enlightenment, courtesy of the humble potato chip.

Actually, chips are pretty bad for electrolytes since they dehydrate you. The salt makes you lose more water than you gain.

Honestly you're all missing the bigger picture here! The problem isn't the dead phone or the chips. It's that we now need a device to tell us not to eat junk food. Our own hunger cues and common sense get outsourced to an app. When the tech fails, we have zero backup plan because we stopped trusting ourselves. The real mutiny was handing over that basic choice to a gadget in the first place.
