Wait, so the cholesterol test doesn't even show the full picture? That's wild! I just read what @the_dylan said about fluffy versus dense particles, and it makes a lot of sense. It seems crazy to get scared by a number without knowing the whole story. If your other health markers got better, that sounds like a good sign to me. I'd be way more worried about high inflammation than a big LDL number on a page.

Cholesterol numbers can be misleading on a carnivore diet. The big fluffy LDL particles you often get from eating this way are not the same as the small dense ones linked to heart disease. A standard lipid panel doesn't show that difference. My own numbers looked scary at first, but my inflammation markers and triglycerides improved a lot.
