The day I hung 62 boards solo and my helper never showed
I had a job last Tuesday in a new build out in Plano, and my regular helper called in sick that morning. I figured I'd just push through and hung 62 twelve-foot sheets of 5/8 fire code by myself by noon. My foreman came by and just laughed, asked if I was trying to prove something. Have any of you had to pull a full day like that on your own?

I remember helping my uncle hang drywall in July with no AC and we lost count after forty sheets.

Brought a buddy to help me frame out a basement one summer and we thought we were smart bringing a fan. Worked great until we started cutting the drywall and that fan just blew all the dust right in our faces. By noon we were both covered head to toe in that white powder, sweating through our bandanas, and his phone fell out of his pocket into a bucket of mud. He didn't talk to me for like a week after that.
