Blessed my buddy's comment about my scarification really got me thinking

I was showing off my chest piece at a cookout last weekend and my friend Dave said it looked like I was trying to hide some ugly truth under all that ink and scarring. He asked me if I even liked how it looked or if I was just covering stuff up for other people. Made me wonder how many of yall actually get mods because you want them versus just coping with something.

Oh wow, that really does sound rough. I had a friend once tell me they were jealous of my success, and it felt like a punch in the gut. We had been close for years, and it just came out of nowhere over dinner. I didn't know what to say at first, so I just sat there quiet. It took us a while to talk it through, but we ended up laughing about it later. Sometimes people say things without thinking, but it still stings. Hope you're okay, seriously.
