My coffee shop work setup in Lisbon used to be a real mess...

Two years back, I'd just grab my laptop and hope for a free table, which meant a lot of dead battery days. Now I always pack my Anker 737 power bank and check the Wi-Fi speed on the Nomad List app before I even leave my flat. It changed after I lost a full day's work in Porto because a cafe's internet cut out for six hours. How do you guys check if a place is good to work from before you get there?

So you just trust that Nomad List app for the wifi speed?

That's just part of the bigger shift where we all have to research basic reliability now, from wifi to bus times.
