What's the decoy phone, a burner? That's smart because they grab it and run. Real one stays deep in a zipped bag or something.

Always thought it was overkill until my buddy got his phone snatched right out of his hand. Now I keep my real phone buried deep.

My old Nokia 3310 is the perfect decoy phone, it's basically a brick. They grab it and realize it's worthless before they even get half a block away. You can't beat that feeling of security for like twenty bucks.
