Burned out in Bali - coworking spaces are ruining my flow

3 weeks into my stay in Ubud. Paid $180 for a hot desk membership at a popular spot. Wifi cuts out every 30 minutes. Everyone's taking zoom calls at full volume. I get more done at a random cafe with a $3 smoothie bowl. Am I the only one who hates these overpriced 'productivity' hubs?

Had a buddy from back home who dropped serious cash on one of those spots in Ubud last year. He said the vibe was all wrong, like everyone was trying too hard to look busy. Ended up working from a little warung down the street where the owner's grandma kept bringing him free snacks. He got more done in a week there than the whole month at the coworking space lol. Sometimes the cheapest spot with the worst wifi is the best for actually focusing.
