Tried a perfume subscription box for date prep, got a sinus infection for my trouble

I ordered that $25 scent sampler thing last Tuesday and sprayed a different one each night before going out, but by Thursday my nose was so stuffed I couldn't smell my own food, let alone the guy across the table, and he kept asking if I had a cold. Has anyone else had allergies or reactions kill the mood before you even sat down?
