Rant: My phone was giving away my spot, but I put a stop to it

Apps kept pinning my location without asking. I looked up how to disable background tracking. Huge relief knowing I'm not being followed online.

Kinda overreacting imo. That data's just for targeted ads, not like someone's actually watching you.

Targeted ads still mean someone's using your location without asking.

But taking location data without asking is a real privacy problem. Companies use it for ads now, but there's a chance they'll use it for worse things later. We should have a say in how our info is used, plain and simple.
