Putting my old phone to rest gave me some peace of mind

So I finally got around to dealing with my old phone, it was just collecting dust and I always worried about my photos and messages getting into the wrong hands. I followed a guide to wipe it completely, which took a bit of time but now I feel like I actually did something good for my privacy. Kind of a small thing, but it makes me feel better about how much of my life is stored on these devices.

Yeah and it's wild how stuff just stays out there forever... like even if you delete an old account, some sites keep cached copies for ages.
